The practice of The Institute of Aesthetic Medicine is located in Coconut Grove, 3225 Aviation Ave, Suite 100, Miami, FL 33133. We offer a comfortable and relaxed setting for aesthetic surgery and non-surgical procedures with state-of-the-art technology to ensure both maximum comfort, as well as patient safety.
Our office is designed for patient confidentiality, as well as comfort. At our Miami office, the first floor of our office suite is utilized for preoperative consultation as well as for your skin care and dermatologic needs.
The second floor of our Miami office suite is the location of our surgical facility, containing our state-of-the-art operating room and three bed recovery unit. The second floor of our office suite includes a totally private entrance, as well as a separate covered private parking to ensure patient confidentiality, allowing postoperative visits which are conducted in a confidential environment.
AAAHC Certified Surgical Centers
Our Miami facility consists of a fully accredited in-office surgical center, with the most modern equipment available and is staffed with licensed, experienced and highly skilled personnel. Our Miami facility is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAHC), as well as by the State of Florida.
For some patients, we also offer surgery at the Bayside Ambulatory Surgical Center, which is located on the Mercy Hospital Campus in Miami, Fl.
All of the surgery performed at the Institute of Aesthetic Medicine is performed as an outpatient procedure, and most of the facial procedures including facelift, eyelid surgery, neck lift, and brow lift are performed under local anesthesia with sedation.
As part of our Institute’s quality standards, we utilize only MD anesthesiologists who have been working with our Institute for many years. Our experience with sedation anesthesia in terms of patient comfort is unparalleled in producing quality results while maximizing patient safety. We have found the recovery following sedation anesthesia is much quicker and easier than following general anesthesia, specifically in our older patients.
Recovery Center
While most patients go home following their surgery procedure, at The Institute of Aesthetic Medicine, we provide the option to recover overnight or for a few days at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Coconut Grove, which is two blocks from our Institute.
If you choose to recover at the Ritz-Carlton, you will be personally cared for by our nursing assistants who will attend to your personal needs. In terms of privacy, our patients are brought to the hotel through a secluded entrance and, while staying at the Ritz-Carlton, are brought daily to our office for postoperative checks.
